Somers Pet Behavior Solutions and Consulting caters to the training needs of animal companions in the Tri-Cities and Knoxville areas. Our company is led by Nelle S. Wyatt, a licensed veterinary medical technician who earned industry-specific experience for over two decades.

Trainer Nelle’s Credentials

Our founder attends annual continuing education to advance her skills and knowledge around the science of animal training. She also maintains her professional memberships in related organizations.

Apart from being a licensed veterinary medical technician, she has the following credentials and titles:

  • Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers in 2010
  • Fear Free Veterinary Professional Certification in 2016
  • Fear Free Animal Trainer Certification in 2017
  • Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA CTP) in 2022
